Are We Really Thinking About National Security Right Now?
The UN's own food price index is up over 60% in a one-year timeframe. We've gone through, if you remember some of the big, let's just say, momentous occasions in history like Tiananmen Square massacre. And that uprising was about food pricing and food availability amongst a few other things. So now we've got higher oil prices, higher natural gas prices, which give you higher fertilizer prices, which cause a problem with food. It's way past the point of thinking about national security.
