The hardest thing about what I was doing was working in an environment where I really regularly had to deal with people. It'd be like people constantly coming up to you in whatever job you're doing being like, hey, what are you doing? Can you explain to me? And then the best was when I'd be like, oh, I'm doing this field study on crows, but you know what, my birds, they're here, I gotta take data. You can sort of exceed the carrying capacity of your neighborhood and it can be consequential.
