A Room of One's Own
i feel stricken at the thought of this woman, who is, you know, such a gargantuan figure right in am australian literature. And she's constantly questioning herself. She's going to therapy because she's digging around inside her own psyche and exploring her sort of guilt and inadequacies. There's just, like, this incredible asymmetry of self examination that just makes you want to scream. But i also think one of the things that she achieved, i think, in australian Literature, is teaching us all to kind of absorb writing literature in a different way.
