Rapamycin: A Potential Treatment for Cognitive Impairment

There's a compound called rapamycin, which if you administer it to animals mimics the effect of these mutants. And this is incredibly hopeful because people are already using rapamycin in pre-clinical trials to improve things like immune function. Many of the most respected gerontologists in the world have said that rapamycin would form, potentially, an effective treatment for mild cognitive impairment.
