The Supreme Court's Invention of Qualified Immunity

Tommy Berry: Courts put an extremely high bar for what a plaintiff has to show when they try to make police accountable. He says courts have had a long string of disappointments with respect to the US Supreme Court, which invented qualified immunity. "I hope that the Supreme Court would consider at the very least, if they're going to start ruling back qualified immunity," he says.
