Apple's Agreement to Stop Using All Files for Machine Learning
Apple has agreed to stop using all files for machine learning purposes, at least from this company. But the harm is already done, isn't it? The model is already trained. And sure, there was a clause in the terms and conditions but one might argue that this clause can be considered abusive. Now, let's talk about Google. An ex Google employee wrote a pretty scathing blog post about their former company. They basically stated that Google has lost its way and has ceased to function as a normal entity. There are entire parts of the company that just work to produce stuff that other teams will use.
