i think it's telling that the loudest antiqualified immunity voices don't tend to talk very much about what they would do to make sure cops don't get hit with frivolous lawsuits. And i should just add a that, you know, qualified immunity is a very particular legal doctrine. There have neen lots of proposals to reform it, but don't totally get rid of it. But still think it's ridiculous that these cops, who may be split second cals, got sent to trial and that dis in fact, if you read some of judge hoe, the descent, he has elsewhere said that he's sceptical of qualified immunity.
