There is an actual sort of energetic accumulation that takes place in your practice. Some teachers will say, well, there is no self, you know. And so it its can't be counterindicated. There has to be a lot of effort. This whole idea of er no self was one of the most destructive things that anyone ever told me when i was younger. I had to shed all the things i knew, and just an o got with experience. It's like dooism is just told you right there. But often greatly misunderstood.
