The Legality of Gender-Affirming Care in Montana
Montana's ban is one of the most extreme in the country, but I know others are similar. It also holds us liable for such care for 25 years and states that our malpractice insurance cannot be used to cover any liability related to this care. There's concern about mental health professionals. Can they even talk about gender issues with their clients? So, referring out of state is really the answer there.
