Rebel Bank's Horizontal and Vertical Approach to Carbon Credits
Rebel bank is basically spinning up a bunch of startups internally with also developing different technical capabilities, if I understood correctly. The main idea and main goal is to help the smallholder farmers really transition to disassainable practice. We convert this growth into carbon removal units, those carbon removal units are then sold to corporate clients or others such as Microsoft. And then the money, 80% of the money goes back to the farmer. So 10% stays for us, 10% goes to the local partner. It's not something that we do for the profit for the bank.
