I'll never stop believing that it was transitory as his recent comments show. Wages are much easier to increase during rising CPI than decrease during falling CPI. Expectations can be sticky as well as inventory. So this, that's why price rises are stickier than price. But does that matter? I don't think so. The fed raising rates was a confidence issue, not a mechanical one.
