The pharisees and the chief priests are completely like p peoplesure. They're opposing factions. And so this is one of those cases that we talked about in session three, where you have there, there. The text doesn't tell us. That's an assumption based on history, but that's probably what we're dealing with. Probably connected to the sanhedrin. I'm assuming there are some corrupt political alliances and relationships there.
