America Withdrew From UNESCO?

The first time the United States pulled out in 1983, and that was when UNESCO had this – there was this new international economic order debate. They said that it was going against freedom of speech. And then withdrew from UNESCO in 1983, or maybe it was 1984. It came back under the George Bush Jr. administration and then left again when the General Conference of UNESCO adopted Palestine as a member.
