The Risk Based Assessment of a Crypto Exchange

The current regulatory system doesn't really address at a federal level how you regulate centralized exchanges. A lot of the issues that arose with FTX are those of as Jen was mentioning traditional financial intermediaries. So it is not fair to paint with a broad brush, the entire crypto ecosystem for the failings of one specific centralized crypto exchange.
