The Different Types of Glasses Used in Kitchens

Fused quartz glass is pure silicon dioxide. It's harder to make though because it has, remember you add the other stuff to it to lower its melting temperature. There's another type of glass called borosilicate glass. That's like Pyrex or Duran glass cookware that you've probably got in your kitchen is made of boron trioxide.
