The first few months was spent on like building the foundational infrastructure for retention, building all the automations. Then focusing paid acquisition on testing, testing and scaling and producing as much creative as possible. There were a few times where I'm sure the brand marketing team wanted to slap me because of how ridiculous and ugly some of the ad concepts were that came out. But I swear the ugly stuff works. In the end, it's the UGC that comes from real customers that always does the best. So when we turn back on again, it's I know exactly how we're going to turn the machine on.
