The Outsider's Perspective on Pastries
I feel like you have a really distinct style, hyper seasonal kind of unexpectedly savory in some ways. I'm curious if you intentionally thought about like this is what makes something a Natasha recipe or if that's just kind of inherent. There was definitely like a certain amount of freedom or liberation that came with not working in the institution of finding restaurants anymore for sure. Once I became free of that hierarchy and those institutions like I start to play around with ingredients that felt like personal to me.
