The Backlash Against Porn Hub

Netflix’s new documentary Money Shot: The Pornhub Story is currently trending. It highlights the work of anti-exploitation advocates, including Exodus Cry. This film certainly tells a story, just not the one you’d expect if you’d been following the case against Pornhub that’s been unfolding very publicly over the past three years.

This week's episode is Exodus Cry's honest response to the film, what we liked, and the vital voices the documentary missed. Helen Taylor and Benjamin Nolot unpack aspects of the film and help to contextualize it to an audience that hasn't been following along with the #Traffickinghub campaign to shut down Pornhub for distributing porn that features exploitation victims.
