How to Interview a Reluctant Subject

There are definitely some interviews that are easier to pull out of people than others. The things that make interviews special for me is when people can talk about why they did something. I mean, I've recorded in some really terrible circumstances. Like isn't it funny how the room is so critical, you know, and like it really, it just sort of brings things together so well.
