The Effects of Wake Activity on the Brain
There are specific systems that are temporarily in place that block that feedback from coming into the brain. We have some similarities or some work that's been done that shows that we know about rats is mostly being seen in humans. So there's a lot of overlap at the level of the brain. But what happens, twitching stays around for a long time. And so we've recorded our first study with humans was looking from two weeks of age till seven months of age at the relationship between twitches and brain activity during sleep.
