What's So Great About Legs?

This week we ask the all important question what's so great about legs. More than 3,400 species of snake seem to do just fine without legs. Dr Reese Jones from Cardiff University tells us why snakes don't make great fossils. A new paper by a team based in Yale in the US has attempted to get to the root of the serpentine family using a battery of techniques.
