The Importance of Mother Tongue
To spirit is an indigenous term for a person who has both a masculine and efeminine spirit. I didn't know going in that a lot of people there would speak either jobway as the first language or as a second language, but speak it at home. The young med of 20 something me wanted to abandon arabic. The 50-something mena wants to reclaim arabic; i think maybe i'm doing a little bit betterne understanding world views. But i think really being able to think and speak in a jib way would have made a world of a difference just as they serve.
