The Importance of Structure in Teaching

There's not a lot of higher level evidence saying, okay, if we deliver education via text or email or social media, how it positively affects patients. But what we do know is that learners enjoy it. It's fun. And they think it's easy to engage in. Can you prove that a six month period of time for a medicine resident just practicing on the wards helps them be a better doctor? Maybe,. but that sounds hard to do because there's so much learning online.
