The Rise of the Real Madrid Regime
Barcelona president Juan La Porta held a press conference to address corruption allegations. He then took aim at Real Madrid, saying they were the team of the regime. It was an exercise in deflection and it reignited a historic rivalry. The pushback from Real Madrid against FC Barcelona was immediate. Just hours after La Porta's remarks the club's in house TV channel broadcast a four minute video with the title which is the team ofThe regime. All of a sudden it creates a million historians that weren't there before. A million people deciding right we know what history is and cherry picking the moments of history that suit the already preconceived narrative or agenda that they're pushing.
