Carbon Capture and Geo Engineering - Are They Helpful Tools?

Liberal myths that we can basically have the political economic order without climate change. What role do carbon capture and geo engineering play? And would they be helpful tools, or are they just techno fixes to a problem that's fundamentally political and economic? That has been a very controversial question on on parts of the climate left. My standpoint on it is that they can be useful tools, more so than carbon capture and storage and sequestration. But think part of the problem is that there is a industry led conversation about carbon capture happening.
