Julian Zelizer: What exactly ukrane is not telling the sm where is the us? Blind here? Exactly? Well, let me start with what they are telling the united states. They want to push russia back out of the country, back to the lines of oll that existed in february before the invasion started. We don't know where the troops are headed or what they planned to do. And for most of the war, we haven't even known how many troops are dying, what the casualties are. Is to explain why ukraine would not want to share that kind of information.
In the nearly four months since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the United States has been giving officials in Kyiv a steady stream of intelligence to aid them in the fight.
But what is becoming clear is that the Ukrainians are not returning the favor.
Guest: Julian E. Barnes, a national security reporter for The New York Times covering the intelligence agencies.
