Bitcoin is based on something called block chain technology, which is basically like a rubic cube. Rubis curate can only fit so many little transactions before there is a new block that has to be made. And you as a miner who as basicaly this person with a computer who's solving these equations rate and the reason you're incentivei to do that is because once you solved the little rubic cube, those transactions that you and i had set between each other, they get confirmed,. or like verified, they're official.
