Ram Das: We desired kingdom, enjoyment and pleasures must first lie dead on the field. He also uses a quote from Don Juan which kind of puts this into a very plain spoken way of understanding it. A man of knowledge has no honor, no dignity, no family, no name, no country, but only life to be lived. Under these circumstances, his only tie to his human to his fellow humans is his controlled folly.
