Hero Questing has always been a core concept of how mythology and Gloranta works. The gods are alive in Gloranthe and you could actually reenact their myths through what is called hero questing. I can't think of anything in which you play a game where the lore is so integral to the experience. It's like comic book continuity, like who cares. Right, just tell me a good story.
