The Hardest Part of Being a Mom
An hour before I went on stage, Hobie called me and said his mom had died. And so he didn't know like the timing of my event. So he actually couldn't even speak on the phone. He texted me, which it seems very bizarre. But at the same time, I told him, I need you to tell me what's going on. Like I need a play to buy play. The hardest part for me was not only did my mother-in-law die, but I wasn't there for Hobie when she passed. "I feel guilt about that"
