Jack Favle is played by George Sanders, who did the voice of Sheer Khan in Jungle Book. He's got such like heft and gravitas to it. And how is dear old Max? Very well, thank you. "He feels like a Hitchcockian character to me" Judith Anderson was nominated for an Oscar as Mrs. Danvers. In the book, she isn't actually an older woman. You see as a protector of Rebecca who saw her grow up. But there's definitely like a sexual attraction between her and Rebecca.
