How to Approach an Intrahepatic Colangiocarcinoma
In intrahepatic Colangiocarcinomas, preop biopsy is not necessary if you have radiographic and clinical evidence that suggests malignancy. For extra hepatic Colang iocarcinoma, the basic principle is still complete resection with negative margins. If it's a distal lesion, you'll likely need to do a Whipple.
