Introduction
Jijek's first book, The End of Ideology is a good starting point for gije. In it we find the core of his truductory - combining hegel lacon and mark and am in an almost hegalian sort of way. It really lays out a good framework for what you can begin to expect from his work. And i think that begins with the synthesis of some important thinkers that he actualizes in his present work.
