It's a forbidden love story between these two agents on these two different sides. So red and blue have seen each other's handy work and keep kind of running into each other again not like in a romcom. I've described all this time war stuff to paint you a backdrop against which the entire rest of the story can play out. You do get some some weird loopy things which we'll talk about a little bit but as far as the time war goes, I'm just I'm seeing all the stuff up front because it's not really about the time war.

This is a twist on a time travel story where the relationship between two enemies-turned-frenemies-turned-lovers takes center stage, leaving the actual mechanics of the time travel and all the world-building mostly unexplained. The dual authorship—each author wrote the chapters for one of the two characters—adds another interesting wrinkle.
