Collectivism vs Individualism
In this chapter, they discuss the difference between individualism and collectivism. They explain that collectivism allows people to evade self-responsibility by relying on others to take care of them, while individualism promotes true support based on rational selfishness. They also point out that while self-sacrifice and support within a family is natural, applying the same principles to society as a whole doesn't work and can be manipulated by politicians and demagogues to steal from people.
