Antidepressents and Depression
In any age and sex cohort you look at, anti depressent use has increased overtime. But there's one demographic that like, stands out pretty strongly from all all the rest: middle aged white women. They're prescribed anti depressents far and above other age and race and sex demographics. We don't know why, butthis is not an anti depressent specific phenomena. This is a pattern across history for other types of drugs as well. And if you look back at old advertisements, they're all aimed at the same demographic.
