British Summer Fruits, a Berry Industry Lobyist

Last year nearly eight thousand tons of berries were wasted, and we can expect that number to grow. British summer fruits estimated that a punnet of raspberries or strawberries will be about 20 pea more expensive this summer. All this is increasing growers production costs massively. And if farmers can't turn a profit this year, then they won't be able to invest more in future summers.
