There is some evidence that omacron affects children, more evidence from south africa. I'm not sure the resistance of accilation would have been so strong if there had been more children getting sick. And i do believe that one of the reasons people were able to down play covedd and be, in many ways, frivolous about the need for vaccination, was because kids weren't getting sick.
