Is There a Difference Between Patients Near the Door and Patients Near the Door?
Patients who are near the door have a longer length of stay in the hospital than people who're near the window. The authors of the study say they think it's because nurses want to keep their eyes on this person. So that could explain why the patients who arenear the door do worse in some sense, why they staying in the hospital longer.
