The Apocalypse of John

John of Patmos was a Jew, thought of himself as a Jew, but he also thought that the Messiah had come. He probably was Jewish, but obviously wouldn't be accepted as such by everybody. Although when we're dealing with texts like this, like the Comran community, for example, I feel kind of morally certain that they were a bit queer.
