The Importance of Being Up Early on the Pick and Roll
I was around Mike Brown for about a month when he got the Cleveland job the second time. In that month, I learned a ton. Like you always remember like his foot angle, say the pick and roll was in the middle. Your foot angle's kind of bearing not straight to the sideline, but more to the corner but the sideline. So that prevents, if you're up to touch, that prevents the split. It was interesting because Al Horfe always get his outside hand and foot up, which is it hard to stab or use your inside hand. And that was, and if you were up on the pick and Roll early enough, you could do that.
