CNN's John Avlon says he doesn't think the fed has kept up its end of the deal. He thinks Paul vulker was a hero for his efforts to keep inflation under control, and that we may not even need a recession at this point in time. Avlon: The job of being the cheirman of the fed is really the national psychologist. You've got to figure out what you've got to try to get in people's collective head - are they expecting? And how do you get them not to expect inflation?
