Introduction

25 years ago in indanesia, some of the worst forest fires in history devastated the environment and resulted in a smog which engulfed southeast asia for months. Desperate efforts are being made to try to stop an environmental disaster. Huge areas of land have been destroyed by forest fires on the islands of borneo and sumatra. The pollution in places like melasia is so bad that experts or warning people could die. It's one of the only places on earth where tigers, rhinos, orangitans and elephants live together.
