Google's Reuben Walkout Was a Manifesto of Change
The walkout was about much more than reuben. It was also about diversity at the company. According to gogle's diversity report in 20 18, only two point five % of its work force identified as black. Organizers made several corps demands, including er pay, transparency and putting a rank and file employee on the company's board of directors. But gougle ended up giving in to only one, an end to forced arbitration.
