The Mythology of Religion
When we look at religion, we understand that any religion or mystical tradition has levels. The outward appearance is the exoteric, which is a level within which the mythologies and stories are taught to the common person. We're not saying that the mythologies lack any literal truth because often they do have literal truth. We have the actual meaning, the intent behind the mythology.
