Introduction

This week's show is about the arrival of AI artificial intelligence into our lives in a beginning to be meaningful way. This one really is going to be a history presentation, and potentially not as buck wild as maybe some of you are hoping from a drama perspective. As we move further and further into the Great American divorce, the end of the West, and so on, it's become apparent that some of the fault lines that historians in a hundred years time will look back on have emerged from a misapprehension of these terms. That's what we're going to look at in this discussion.
