Is Subscription a Sub-Stack a Good Idea?

The original d'etre of sub-stack is that the business model of advertising was not sufficient to support thoughtful writing and content. And by implementing this business model of the subscription newsletter, like we could actually have more thoughtful voices out there being able to publish on a consistent basis. It kind of makes me think about when you think about different industries being threatened by anyone being able to make money on the internet doing something. Like what other kind of reactions we might see to other platforms that help other creators earn money online versus going through the old way of doing things.
