The History of Revelation in Ukraine

This interpretation arose in the 19th century in England, and then came over to America. And this too is the common view among Christians here. I think that even people who aren't Christian assume that revelation is predicting what's going to happen in the future. They just think that's what it's about. For many, many centuries, nobody almost know very few people interpreted it that way.
