The Origins of Indigenous Cultural Knowledge and Systems
Some of these roots that we thought were completely exterminated have actually survived. The places that have survived is across cultural fusion with those other subcultural group I just mentioned, the rednecks. People who were part of that lineage were in the battler working rural, if you like, backwards people. That's how they survived the dominant culture. So I just completely reject this idea of this permaculture sort of intellectual idea out of academic privilege.
