There may be more subtle impacts of losing the ash, even in those systems where they're not a dominant species. We have some of my sights that have been completely invaded by fragmites or o reed canary grass. And we also have honeysuckle here in ohio as a shrubby invasive. It's really to increase cover in abundance pretty quickly. So the ripples, even the ones we can measure, are alarming, but even more alarming is what we not measur right? Absolutely, absolutely.
